This Thursday, January 13 from 10 to noon, enjoy a free, guided snowshoe tour around Aspen's Northstar Nature Preserve. Deer, elk and assorted wildlife cross the Preserve on their way to winter hideouts, and traversing the open space via snowshoe affords a first-hand look at Aspen's backyard. January 13 marks the beginning of Wintersköl, Aspen's annual four-day celebration of skiing, frolicking and revelry in the mountains.
