Artist Lectures, Come One, Come All

The Aspen Art Museum and Anderson Ranch present the Summer Lecture Series. This week, June 24 at 5 p.m. at the Aspen Art Museum, features Christian Rattemeyer. Curator of Drawings at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. Rattenmeyer will examine the work of his fellow-exhibitors, the eight artists now displaying in the museum’s “Restless Empathy” exhibition. Aspen Saturday Market, Open for the Season

The Aspen Saturday Farmer’s Market kicked off this weekend, in the heart of downtown Aspen. Fresh organic produce, from some of Colorado’s most dedicated farmers, arts and crafts and essential oils, beautiful stems of wildflowers, insanely delicious desserts, the Kettle Corn station and everyone’s favorite, Goat Cheese Corner! Food and Wine Preview, open to all!

The 28th Annual Food and Wine Classic is descending upon Aspen pallettes June 18-Jun 20; world-class nibbles and internationally-acclaimed wines, with spirits, seminars and frolicking thrown in. The Aspen Chamber Resort Association presents a preview of the tastes to come, with a membership luncheon at the Hotel Jerome, featuring cuisine from Executive Chef Evan Francois and specially-paired Spanish wines, selected by Marnie Old, acclaimed sommelier. With or without a Food and Wine Pass, the preview luncheon is open to all!
