Fireworks Tonight!

Winterskol continues here in Aspen for one more day, and tonight one of the most cherished events takes place directly across the street from Aspen Square - the torchlight descent down the face of Aspen Mountain and the Winterskol Fireworks Extravaganza right afterwards. It's a beautiful sight to see the lights dancing down the slopes, so if you're in town and you haven't seen it before, please join us. The torchlight descent begins at 8:15pm and the fireworks follow at 8:30pm.

SOUPSKOL - WINTERSKOL'S TASTIEST EVENT

One of the most popular events to be added to Aspen's Winterskol celebration is Soupskol. At this free event, dozens of restaurants offer free samples of their best soup recipes to the hungry hordes. Everyone votes on their favorite soup and the winning restaurant receives the coveted "Soup Bowl" trophy and bragging rights for the next 12 months. This year's Soupskol is Friday, January 11, from 4-6pm on the corners of Cooper and Hunter streets in downtown - right in front of Aspen Square!
