Epic Snow means Colorado Freeride Championships, a Go!

Last week, there just wasn't enough coverage but this weekend; look out. The 2010 Colorado Freeride Championships come to Snowmass, with a vengeance! Cliff-huckers and watchers of cliff-hucking, rejoice...over 100 competitors, men and women, skiers and snowboarders, take to the powder and the big air over the plentiful jumps and extreme terrain on both Hanging Valley Wall and Burnside Cliffs. Slopeside viewing and high-sports action, guaranteed.

Fresh Snow! More On The Way Tonight!

With 15-17 new inches of snow over the past few days and comfortable temperatures, the skiing has been and is phenomenal!

Aspen Mountain and Snowmass have been skiing really well! The snow has softened up all the bump runs and the groomers have been soft and smooth. The Dumps at Aspen Mountain have been skiing great and runs off of Big Burn and Sheer Bliss at Snowmass have been a lot of fun!

The skiing is just going to keep getting better with some good size snowfalls predicted over the coming days! Still plenty of skiing left to be done this season.

Eco Art decorates Aspen Eco Fest

Aspen Eco Fest comes to town April 23-25, broadening locals' and visitors' eco-horizons with new products, technology and ways to decorate the environment. The Red Brick Council for the Arts will host an eco-art exhibition during the festival, featuring art made from recycled, reclaimed and found objects and there's an open call for works of art to display. The exhibition will take place at the Inn at Aspen on April 25; plenty of time to get creative and transform that recycling!
