Fresh powder and brillant sunlight for New Year's Eve Day!

While Aspen Highlands only reported 2 inches of new snow overnight, up top they had at least 6-8 inches of new snow. The clouds parted just as the lifts started up and the sun was shining all day long which helped combat the slightly cooler temperatures.

Deep Temerity lift was running and fresh tracks were available all morning. The mountain started getting busy around 11 AM and the flow of people hiking up to Highlands Bowl was impressive. The snow up there was soft and plentiful! The North Woods were spectacular!
