A couple weeks away, it's the 17th Annual Ride for the Pass, a fundraiser for the Independence Pass Foundation. The cool thing (well, one of them, anyway) is that you get to race and zip and do your thing, all while the Pass is still closed, just before it opens for the summer season. There's still time to train and to triumph on race day, May 21.
For more info, www.IndependencePass.org. And when you've ridden your best, come back and relax with us, at Aspen Square. We'd love to hear all about it!
Like a Monopoly player's dream come true, announcing Free Parking Fridays in downtown Aspen, throughout the month of May. Of course, you're already centrally located at Aspen Square Hotel, no need to get behind the wheel; but it's the thought that counts. And, there's free music at BellyUp Aspen this weekend and great movies at the Wheeler Opera House, the best place to take in a Major Motion Picture. A lot to celebrate this spring; come stay with us and park - or walk - wherever you like.
Aspen Art Museum welcomes artists, and art, for all seasons. May 12, join AAM for an opening reception of "The Anxiety of Photography".
