One of Aspen's favorite film series, MountainSummit: Mountainfilm in Aspen, returns to the Wheeler Opera House tonight with Adventure Shorts at 7pm. MountainSummit: Mountainfilm in Aspen is a documentary film festival, presented in partnership with Telluride Mountainfilm – that showcases nonfiction stories about environmental, cultural, climbing, political and social justice issues that matter. Along with exceptional documentaries, the festival goes beyond the film medium by bringing together world-class athletes, change makers and visionary artists for a multi-dimensional celebration of indomitable spirit. This year’s theme is Winning Spirit: Real People. Unreal Stories. The series will continue with a full slate of films all day through Sunday, August 28.
