If you've ever wondered how Peter Pan ended up in Neverland, Theatre Aspen's third summer production, "Peter and the Starcatcher," will answer your questions. A charming show based on humorist Dave Berry's novel, this play explains all in a "perfectly magical, magically perfect" way. In the five-time Tony Award-winning play, more than 12 actors portray over 100 characters, including the evil pirate captain Black Stache, his sidekick Smee and the special boy who becomes Peter Pan. The show previews July 15 and the official opening is July 16 at 8pm. "Peter and the Starcatcher" runs through August 21. Be sure to check for start times which vary during the run.
