COOL AND SUNNY ASPEN DAYS

Sunny skies are with us again, with temperatures that are cool during the day and below freezing at at night now. Winter is on the way! Last week we saw a dusting of snow on the higher slopes above Aspen. Check the Live Web Cam to see Gondola Plaza and the lower slopes on Aspen Mountain. Temperatures are colder now, and the flowers around our property have breathed their last. The Aspen trees were amazing in color this fall, but now the wind and rains have taken their tool on the leaves. They are mostly on the ground now! We have cooler weather with us this weekend, just what we expect this time of year.

Aspen Square is the place to be for a fun fall mountain visit! Especially this season, people are enjoying being in the mountains. This weekend we welcome families in Aspen for youth hockey games. We are glad you are here!

Many late fall activities are still with us, even as early winter weather takes over. How 'bout a visit to the Aspen Historical Museum, or the local ghost towns of Ashcroft or Independence before they are buried in snow? Hiking and biking along the Roaring Fork River? And, amazing fishing of course. What a great time to be here!
