The Fall season: Aspen at a slower pace

We are seeing the last of the Aspen tree color on the slopes above us. This fall season has been amazing with warm temmperatures, cool and crisp nights and still so much amazing tree color. Hiking, biking and just enjoying the fall weather make Aspen a great place to visit this season. We still have great weather for sitting around the pool and soaking up the sunshine! John Denver Weekend

John Denver weekend is coming up, October 8 - 10, with concerts and programs that focus on one of Aspen's favorite musicians. John is gone now, but his music and his fans are still with us. John lived in Aspen for so many years, and there are still so many locals who remember him well. Some of the musicans who played with John will be remembering and playing his music again this weekend. Check out the events, and come enjoy the last bit of fall here in Aspen -- and be ready for ski season, coming up fast!

A fun Rugby Weekend in Aspen


Ruggerfest brought top rugby teams from all over the nation to Aspen for matches in our downtown parks. The action is alsays exciting and people have fun! Events are free for spectators, with REAL rugby and terrific competitors. Aspen Square always hosts a number of rugby fans and team members and it is always a fun, high-energy weekend. The weather was excellent and it was a terrific weekend. They wil be back again next year!
