Aspen Square Daily News

More snow, more great skiing

And snowboarding, too of course. The weekend has brought LOTS of new snow, along with Saturday night's SUMMIT FOR LIFE charity "up hill" race. Over 350 racers and participants will hike, ski or trudge up the front of Aspen Mountain all in support of organ donor awareness and the Chris
Klug Foundation. It's a grand event, a worthwhile cause, and fun for both locals and visitors. Aspen Square is the host hotel for the event. What a weekend, with fun activities and more snow!

We sure have had the early snowfall! More fresh snow came this week, and now we are enjoying a mix of clouds and clear skies. Temperatures have been moderate, but cold at night. Conditions are amazing, and people are having fun! Pictured are Aspen Mountain gondola cars, moving over a mountain crew grooming machine. The Aspen crews sure know how to make the slopes "first rate" for our skiers and snowboarders!

Snowfall on Sunday reminds us that we are always glad to have more, even if the racers are not wild about it. Skiing and snowboarding are just the best. What a weekend! Remember, we have terrific early season rates and even some space is still open for the Christmas Holiday. Call us for information, and come enjoy this amazing early season snow!
