July 4th -- always a great holiday in Aspen!

Fireworks! 12-08.jpg

Aspen celebrates July 4th like no other place around. There is our parade, kids races and events, fun up on top of Aspen Mountain and the Gondola, and activities all over town. A highlight is always the fireworks over the mountain -- pictured here this past winter in a shot from our friend John Barnes of Ultimate Taxi. (What a trip that is!)

Call us for July 4th reservatinos, and help us celebrate here in Aspen and at Aspen Square!

What a winter it was!

Our snow was just the best this winter, and skiing was amazing all season long. It was a fun ski and snowboard season. Spring is here now, and sunshine prevails this time of year -- at least most days. Now the weather is mostly delightful but we can always have a spring snowstorm -- like this past Sunday saw. Stay tuned, summer is on the way!

A snowy season comes to an end - almost

Aspen's regular ski season is closed for the winter, but there was still so much snow up on the slopes on closing day! With all the new snow, Aspen Highlands reopened for two "bonus weekends" at the end of April. There was still time for some final turns. It was quite a season with terrific snow from start to finish, including amazing snow right to the end. What a great ski season this has been!
