Aspen Square Daily News
Winterskol kicked off last night with the Aspen Chamber's annual dinner and awards ceremony at the St. Regis. And guess who received the 2014 Molly Campbell Community Service Award? None other than our own general manager, Warren Klug! The award is presented annually to an Aspen resident who has made "an outstanding and enduring contribution to the community through service and volunteerism." Here's a picture of Warren with his award this morning. Congratulations Warren!
One of Winterskol's wackiest traditions, the Mad Hatter's Ball, returns to the Wheeler Opera House on January 9 after being absent from the Winterskol schedule for the last few years. Attendees to the ball are encouraged to take part in the silliness by wearing a crazy hat and entering the best hat competition. Winners will receive two tickets to the Aspen Laff Fest. Music by Jes Grew will keep the event lively. For details visit aspenhistory.com.
