Maroon Bells, a Fall Favorite

maroonbells fall 2012.jpg

One of our favorite spots around Aspen is the Maroon Bells, with the mirror-like lake in front, amazing Aspen tree colors and now a dusting of snow up on the Bells themselves. The yellow leaves won't last much longer up there, so now is the time to visit. This is a true photographer's dream: the lake, mountains, snow, tree color and blue skies. Come see us this fall!

Amazing color all around

Fall brings sunny days and cool, crisp nights to Aspen -- and the annual show of amazing colors. The Aspen trees turn yellow and gold, and the huge stands of Aspens in the mountains around us are something to see. The color will be with us into early October, so plan a visit and come see nature's amazing show! Call for special fall lodging rates and come see your friends at Aspen Square.

The Meeting Begins September 27

The tips of the surrounding mountains have been dusted with snow over the last few days. Which makes it the perfect time for the 8th presentation of The Meeting, from September 27-29. The premier gathering of snow sports filmmakers, athletes, sponsors, media and fans, The Meeting will deliver a packed schedule of the top 2012-2013 ski and snowboard movies at the Wheeler Opera House and at the Sundeck on top of Aspen Mountain. Live concerts will be presented at Aspen's popular music venue, Belly Up as well. For details on the three-day event, visit www.aspensnowmass.com/themeeting.
