More snow comes to Aspen

Nov snow!.jpg

Our second big snow storm of the early winter came to Aspen early this week, with nearly a foot of fresh snow recorded on Aspen Mountain. Several inches fell here in town, and with cold temperatures it is sticking around. Ski and snowboard season opens in Aspen in just three weeks, with lifts starting up on Thanksgiving Day. We are preparing also to host Women's World Cup Ski Racing opening weekend, and it will be exciting again as always. Make plans to take advantage of great early season rates, and come ski with your friends at Aspen Square!

New snow in Aspen

New snow came to the mountains of Aspen and we had several inches fall and stick even here in town. The weather report calls for more snow this week. Since we usually have snow around Halloween, it looks like this storm is right on schedule. We just had our annual Ski Swap at Aspen High School, so we're ready for the white stuff to start falling! You can check on the storm's progress by visiting our webcams on this site. Ski season 2011-2012 begins on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, so it's not too early to start booking your next visit to Aspen Square.

We are planning on great snow and more terrific skiing and snowboarding! Give us a call and find out about reduced early season rates. Ski area opening is just weeks away!
