New snow in Aspen

snow.stream.jpg

New snow came to the mountains of Aspen and we had several inches fall and stick even here in town. The weather report calls for more snow this week. Since we usually have snow around Halloween, it looks like this storm is right on schedule. We just had our annual Ski Swap at Aspen High School, so we're ready for the white stuff to start falling! You can check on the storm's progress by visiting our webcams on this site. Ski season 2011-2012 begins on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, so it's not too early to start booking your next visit to Aspen Square.

A relaxed fall in Aspen

We are into late fall in Aspen, and it is delightful. The pace is slower, the charm of our little mountain town is all around Aspen Square, and you can always get a parking spot. All over town, people are spiffing up and getting ready for the winter season ahead. A reminder - make reservations now for your winter Aspen visit. We are planning on great snow and more terrific skiing and snowboarding! Give us a call and find out about reduced early season rates. Ski area opening is just weeks away!

Fall season is here

The fall is a favorite time in Aspen, with a slower pace and still so much to see and do. The Saturday Market continues into mid-October, and the Aspen Mountain Gondola takes visitors to the top of Aspen on weekends. The weather is usually warm and sunny during the day and crisp at night. The Aspen trees will be turning color soon enough. The trees will look like those on the right before we know it. It's a great time to visit. Ask about our reduced rates for September, and come see us!
