After a week of mostly sunny weather, the clouds have moved in and we have snow again! The sun and blue skies are great, but fresh snow is always welcome. This will be a weekend of more snowfall, with glimpses of sunshine, and really fun skiing and boarding. Significant snowfall is predicted. Yea!
We are getting ready for the start of the Winter X-Games, just days away. It promises to be a wild and crazy time!

Today's skiers are enjoying sunshine and blue skies again, and with all the snow of recent days the conditions are just about perfect. What a great time to be skiing and snowboarding on the slopes of Aspen! Our EXPN X-Games friends are starting to arrive, with several staying with us at Aspen Square. It is always exciting to welcome them back! The terrain park and features at Buttermilk have been announced to be "perfect" and we will be ready for competitions January 2 - 25. It's coming up fast! Enjoy GREAT skiing today, with more sunny skies expected over the days ahead. Good news!
More new snow keeps the powder fresh

Tuesday skiers and snowboarders will enjoy another 5 to 6 inches of new snow from the past 24 hours, with mostly sunny skies. Wow, condtions are excellent. More light snow can be expected in the next couple of days, particularly in the evening. GOOD NEWS: more sunshine should be with us later in the week and over the weekend. With all this great snow, and now sunshine, this is a wonderful time to visit Aspen and Aspen Square! Check out the LIVE WEB CAM (left) and see the lower slopes of Aspen Mountan.
