Springtime weather, summer ahead

Can it be true? Even with so much fresh snow, the ski and snowboard season has come to an end. Aspen Highlands was the last ski area to close, with still amazing snow on the slopes. It was a wonderful winter ski and snowboard season, and conditions were the best all winter long. April recorded over four feet of snowfall! We just cannot wait until we reopen for skiing at Thankgivig. Now, we’re settling into a quieter time of the year here at Aspen Square. Rates are WAY down now for spring, as we enjoy a slower pace and prepare for what should be another wonderful summer.


Last weekend on Aspen Mountain

Hard to believe, but Aspen Mountain and Snowmass close after skiing on Sunday. But, good news! Highlands stays open through Easter Sunday, April 24. The snow is terrific, and more is coming this weekend.

After two glorious sunny days in Aspen, we expect more snow for the rest of the weekend. Amazing conditions, and really fun skiing and snowboarding. Call us for last minute rates on this weekend's lodging, and come ski with us!


Even more snow for our last week on Aspen Mountain

Monday morning's report told of another 14 inches of snow in the last 24 hours, and it is another amazing day for Aspen skiers and boarders. Yes, it is true -- Aspen Mountain closes for the ski season on Sunday, April 10. Hard to believe! Aspen Mtn will close with all this amazing snow. But good news: Aspen Highlands will remain open through Easter Sunday, April 24. What a wonderful ski and snowboard season this has been, with abundant snowfall and terrific conditions all season long.
