LABOR DAY WEEKEND FUN AHEAD

Officially welcoming in the fall season, Labor Day Weekend is
really fun in Aspen. Highlights include the Motherlode
Volley Ball Classic featuring teams and individuals from
all over the country competing for Classic Honors. Also, the Jazz
Aspen/Snowmass event returns to Snowmass for the weekend,
with classic jazz and rock musicians performing in the giant tent
at Snowmass Village Park (See line up below). Call for reservations

This time of year is one of the best for fly fishing in Aspen's
crystal meltwater rivers. Aspen offers some of the worlds best fly
fishing with an abundant population of trout, predominantly Rainbows

ASPEN THEATRE IN THE PARK |

Aspen
Theatre in the Park has a long history of bringing professional
theatre productions and theatre training to the Roaring Fork Valley
of Colorado. Its not too late to see one of their summer productions
that run until August 29. Playing are: Legends and Lies,
The Musical Stories of Henry Chapin. Presented are the songs he
wrote of the lives, loves and dreams of an entire generation.
Proof by David Auburn (Winner of the 2001 Tony
Award for Best Play and Pulitzer Prize for Best Drama), explores
the mysteries of genius, mathematics and of love. For the family
is a production of Aesop's Fables adapted by
Janice Estey. The fables include such timeless favorites as “The
Tortoise and the Hare” and “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.”
