BIG IMPROVEMENTS PLANNED
FOR POOL, HOT TUB AREA
Work is planned for this spring on a total renovation of
our pool and hot tub area and courtyard between our buildings.
We will have a new and slightly larger pool and two brand
new hot tubs. Two new water features will be added, and the
open deck area for seating and lounge chairs will be expanded. Work
will start April 1 and run to July 1. The pool and hot tub
will be closed for those dates. It will be a bit
messy and noisy during construction, but the end result will
be worth it!
WHAT'S NEW ON THE ASPEN
SQUARE WEB SITE?

WINTER SPORTS |
 |
The
world's premiere winter action sports event, the ESPN Winter
X Games just wrapped up its sixth year in Aspen at the end
of January. These mind-boggling games took place on Buttermilk
Mountain from January 25th - 28th. The eleventh annual, free-to-the-public,
winter action sports competition featured more than 200 athletes
from across the globe competing for medals and prize money
in Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Sno-Cross, and the newest event,
Snowmobile Freestyle, where competitors performed tricks
and jumps ranging from 45 feet up to more than 100 feet!
In addition to all the events at Buttermilk, three outdoor
(and also free!) evening concerts in the downtown core helped
bring the energy of the games into town! And the best part
is, Aspen will continue to host the X-Games through 2010!
