COURTYARD
AND POOL RENOVATON ALMOST COMPLETE! |
 |
The
Aspen Square Courtyard and pool area is into a major renovation,
underway and making great progress. We are expecting substantial
completion and opening of the pool and new hot tubs within
the week. We are replacing the old swimming pool, moving
it slightly to the west; we have two new hot tubs, two really
neat water features, new decking and a fun fire pit and gathering
area. The whole area will see new lighting and landscaping.
We are nearing the end!

INDEPENDENCE
DAY RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! |
 |
Aspen
celebrates Independence Day in true American style, when
approximately 20,000 local residents and visitors come together
to honor our nation's birthday. The festivities begin with
the "Boogies 5 Mile Run" in the morning, and at
noon, there is an old fashioned 4th of July Parade, headed
up by countless Harley Davidsons and followed by fire engines,
the local golden retrievers, and a traditional calliope.
A free concert at the Music Tent at 4:00 pm is followed by
a street dance/block party in the downtown core and a fireworks
extravaganza over Aspen Mountain in the evening. It is an
action-packed day to be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike!
