When you’re in Aspen for a ski holiday, we invite you to change up your mornings with yoga at the top of Aspen Mountain. Welcoming the day with incredible mountain views and a hatha yoga session will lay the foundation for the best day of skiing and riding.
What is it like to attend a yoga class on Aspen?
The yoga classes at the Sundeck Restaurant atop Aspen Mountain are open to all levels, from those attending their very first class to experienced yogis. The sessions are perfect for skiers and snowboarders, as the instructors select a series of postures that’ll awaken, lengthen, and strengthen the muscles you’ll need for a day on the slopes.
Once class is over, grab a cup of tea at the cafeteria, and take a seat in front of the dramatic mountain landscape. Sip from your steaming cup, enjoy the view at 11,000 feet, and prepare yourself for a great day in Aspen. Then, get out there, and carve up the corduroy!
Interested in the winter yoga classes on Aspen?
If so, hop on the Silver Queen Gondola by 9:10 am, (classes start at 9:30 am) and enjoy the 20-minute gondola ride to the top. Walk over to the Sundeck Restaurant, grab one of the provided yoga mats, and find a spot.
Classes are an hour long, and run from 9:30 - 10:30 am on Tuesday and Thursday during the winter season. The cost is $5. Also, to get to the top of the mountain, you’ll need either a foot pass or a ski pass, both of which the concierge at the Aspen Square Condominium Hotel can purchase, and have ready for you when you arrive in town for your vacation.
