It's January, so it's cold, it's snowy and we're in the middle of Winterskol. And tonight it's time for the 11th annual Soupskol - arguably Winterskol's most popular event. The tents are going up this morning as it continues to snow and Soupskol begins at 4pm. An Apres-Soupskol party begins at 6pm at Chair 9 at the Little Nell. Bring your appetite and your cell phone so you can vote by text for the winner of the best soup in Aspen.
Aspen's annual salute to winter, Winterskol, begins Thursday January 9. Local favorite events like Wintersculpt, sponsored by Anderson Ranch, Soupskol and the Canine Fashion Show add to the celebratory atmosphere. This year the Mad Hatter's Ball will return to the Hotel Jerome on Thursday. Crazy hats are encouraged, the more outlandish the better!
