The 10th annual Summit for Life, a nighttime race up the front face of Aspen Mountain, benefits 
the Chris Klug Foundation, dedicated to promoting lifesaving organ and tissue donation. 

December 12Aspen Highlands/Buttermilk Opening Day
Locals and superpipe lovers rejoice with the opening of Highlands and the Buttermilk terrain parks.

Celebrate the holiday season with cookies, hot chocolate, ice skating, visits with Santa and much, 
much more. Daily events on-mountain and in Aspen and Snowmass Village.

January 14-17Wintersköl 
Aspen's annual celebration of winter and community spirit, with local-favorite events like 
Soupsköl, the Canine Fashion Show, the Hike for Hope Uphill and of course, fireworks. 

January 17-24 Aspen Gay Ski Week
The world's first gay ski week, Aspen Gay Ski Week returns for its 39th year, bringing a week of 
great skiing and boarding, parties, events, concerts, films and fundraisers.

January 28-31 Winter X Games
Buttermilk again hosts four days of exciting competitions, with the biggest names in extreme 
snowsports from all over the world in ski and snowboard superpipe, slopestyle, snowcross and more.

February 12-15 Presidents Day Weekend
Tip your hat to our beloved presidents Washington and Lincoln and thank them for this great 
mid-winter break!

February 27Audi Power of 4 Ski Mountaineering Race
24 miles. 10,000-foot vertical gain. 4 mountains. Two-person teams traverse all 4 mountains of 
Aspen Snowmass, ending at the Gondola Plaza at the base of Aspen Mountain.

March 19, 25, 26 Spring Jam Bud Light Hi Fi Concerts
Part of the Bud Light Hi-Fi concert series, these free outdoor concerts are held in Aspen and 
Snowmass and definitely bring dancing out into the streets.
