This weekend, June 8-10, Aspen Eco Fest both celebrates the great outdoors and suggests better ways to care for it. Throughout the streets of downtown, there'll be educational speakers, how-to exhibits, yummy and healthful food, art booths, Yoga in the Park, live entertainment and other surprises.
Kick off Aspen Eco Fest on Friday night with Rod Stryker from ParaYoga and a presentation at the Wheeler Opera House. Grab a schedule or simply stroll through the streets and discover the festivities for yourself.
While Snowmass gears up for this summer's Chili and Brewfest, nearby Carbondale launches its First Annual Bread and Brew Fest to get those pallettes started. Mountain Groove Productions brings music, food and suds to the area this weekend, June 1-2. Homemade, handmade gourmet breads from local bakers, regional brewers and microbrews extraordinaire, and a full line-up of live music from Dan Sheridan, David Bromberg, reggae greats The Itals, and more.
June 8 and 9, it's another flavorful weekend of spicy food, beer and music. The 2012 Snowmass Chili and Brewfest comes to Fanny Hill, featuring a new 3-hour beer tasting, chili sampling of tastes from all over Colorado, and live music Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
The weekend's music lineup includes Gogo Bordello, Sierra Leone Refugee All-Stars, The Congress and...the return of Galactic!
The early summer Chili and Brewfest has become one of our area's primary seasonal festivals, so get your tickets early and make it a full weekend on the hill.
