Countdown to Labor Day in Aspen, Colorado

It's very difficult to believe but it is totally true: we're closing in on the last official week of summer. However, that's not as grim as it first appear.

There's talk of floating down rivers, running the 1st Annual Back-Country Marathon, climbing around local cliffs and biking to the Bells. Some are hiking to Crested Butte and back, others are venturing into the wilderness and lingering awhile in Conundrum Hot Springs before headed back for a night on the town.


3rd Annual MountainSummit comes to the Wheeler Opera House

From raging rivers and mountain peaks, to Ground Zero, from Adrenaline Films to the meaning of Happiness...the 3rd Annual MountainSummit brings the best of the 32-year old Mountain Film in Telluride, to town.  Featuring epic first descents of dangerous African rivers to the beginning, and end, of the Colorado River, with goodwill, wilderness and endless adventure throughout.


8th Annual Aspen/Snowmass Ride for the Cure, this Saturday August 20!

10, 30, 50 or 100 miles...take your pick and ride through the Rockies, knowing each pedal and every heat benefits Komen Aspen and Breast Cancer Research. It'a a big week for raising awareness, and dollars, and the Ride for the Cure is one of the valley's most treasured ways of traversin our backyard.
