It's our favorite time of year again, when our own Chris Klug hosts a full weekend of parties and inspires Aspen uphill-ers towards raising funds, and awareness, for organ and tissue donation.
Pick from any, or many, Summit for Life events in and around town and mountain: the Annual Wine and Dine for Life on December 9, from 6:30-9:30 pm, followed by the Party for Life at 39 Degrees; and on Saturday, December 10, it's the ever-exhilarating Summit for Life up Aspen Mountain with celebration party to follow.

Wednesday, December 7 at 12:30 p.m., enjoy a gourmet luncheon at the Hotel Jerome, while you learn something new and essential. Aspen Business Association presents Dr. Gordon Gerson, Cardiologist, on proper exercise and heart-healthy habits for all ages.
Dr. Gerson's been practicing in Aspen for 11 years, is an seven-time Ironman finisher and a tremendous resource on how to cultivate a heart-healthy lifestyle. For tickets and info, www.aspenbusinessluncheon.com.
It's that time of year again, and one of our favorites, as well. The magnificent Sardy House tree will be lit up for the winter season, just in time for another go round of holiday celebrations.
Enjoy free cookies, hot chocolate, check out the Clauses (on a quick leave from the North Pole), and the free music by Ellen Stapenhorst, The Local Vocals, Aspen Country Day School Choir and the Aspen High School A Capella Club.
