BASH Harvest Fest in Downtown Basalt

While you stay with us at Aspen Square Hotel this crisp fall season, venture to neighboring towns to celebrate the colors and sounds of October. Basalt presents Basalt Arts and Social Happenings' Harvest Fest this Saturday, October 8 in downtown Basalt.

BASH features a huge sidewalk sale, tasty specials from some of the area's finest eateries and live music with local favorites Bobby Mason from 2-4 p.m. and Dan Ford, from 4-6 p.m.

Bring the whole family, of course! There'll be a scarecrow contest, a pumpkin patch and trick or treating festivities.


John Denver Week brings fans from all over the world

He touched many hearts in many countries and during John Denver Week, Aspen celebrates both the man and the music. October 7-16 features a slew of special events, from picnics to concerts, words and memories, in tribute to John Denver and in support of related causes and ideas. Family Fall Art Programs at Aspen Art Museum

Aspen Art Museum presents a few family art programs to commemorate the changing fall colors!

Sunday, October 2 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., it’s a free Family Workshop! Drop by AAM and explore the current exhibition Haegue Yan: The Art and Technique of Folding the Land and then, take part in interactive art projects for the whole family. From sculpture, to story art, AAM wants to engage the senses and reach out to all ages.
