Last weekend brought another 10 inches of fresh snow to the top of Aspen and Snowmass, and conditions are just the best for fun skiing and snowboarding. Last weekend also, Highlands and Buttermilk opened for the season so now all the four mountains of Aspen are open, in great shape and providing fun times for visitors and locals alike! Aspen is getting all dressed up for the holidays and Christmas, and it is a magical time to be here. Remember we still have special rates until just before Christmas. We still have a few availabilities for the week between Christmas and New Years.

Air Service gets better and better

Air service into Aspen's local airport is excellent again this year with more seats and more destinations available. Frontier Airlines continues to serve Aspen with four daily flights to Denver all winter long, connecting to their over 50 major market cities nation wide. United Airlines continues to bring more service to Aspen, and new this winter is Aspen to Houston service starting January 4. Daily directs from Aspen on United include four to Chicago, three to Los Angeles and two to San Francisco. Service from Asepn to Denver continues as well. Need more options?

More snow, more great skiing

And snowboarding, too of course. The weekend has brought LOTS of new snow, along with Saturday night's SUMMIT FOR LIFE charity "up hill" race. Over 350 racers and participants will hike, ski or trudge up the front of Aspen Mountain all in support of organ donor awareness and the Chris
Klug Foundation. It's a grand event, a worthwhile cause, and fun for both locals and visitors. Aspen Square is the host hotel for the event. What a weekend, with fun activities and more snow!
