In the summer our guests love to spend time in our courtyard, surrounded by flowers, warm breezes and the soothing sound of our water features. One of signs that summer is really here just occurred this week - the planting of all of our summer flowers. It's going to be another wonderfully colorful Aspen Square summer. If you'd like to help the Independence Pass Foundation celebrate its 25th anniversary tonight, be sure to get to the St. Regis by 5:30pm. The two-hour celebration includes a reading, slide show and signing session of the new book "High Road to Aspen." This collaboration by Aspen writer Paul Anderson and celebrated photographer David Hiser is a written and photographic survey of the beauty and history of Independence Pass. Aspen Eco Fest returns to the corners of Hopkins and Hyman this weekend, June 7 and 8. Now in its 5th year, Eco Fest celebrates everything green and sustainable, with more than 85 vendors presenting Colorado-made, local products, earth-conscious clothing and a food court. Don't forget your recyclable shopping bags!
