Deep powder.JPG

We have more snow at this time than we did last year; and that was an epic season! We recorded another 5 inches of new snow yesterday then it turned sunny but VERY COLD. Sking is amazing. We have seen over three feet of new snow in the past seven days. The weekend will see mosty cloudy days with a break in the snowfall and even sopme morning sunshine. The sun will make an appearance again on Monday. Wow, what terrific conditions on the slopes of the ski areas of Aspen! We are about full now for the Holiday Week, and looking forward to a good January as well.

IT WAS A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS DAY!

Skiing and snowboarding were terrific on Christmas Day, with light snow falling and very few people up on the slopes. What a day to be in Aspen! The mountains of Aspen have reported over three feet of snow in the past seven days, and the skiing is amazing. Wow -- we have had over 8 feet of new snow since opening at Thanskgiving! Temps are cold, and conditions are the best. More snow is expected tonight, tomorrow and over the weekend. It is certainly a Very White Christmas in Aspen! Our Aspen Square friends are enjoying teir Holiday visits. What a great time to be here!

The Holiday Season is always a wonderful time in Aspen, with our little town "all dressed up" for Christmas and the holidays ahead. We sure do have snow in town this year, better than in some years past; and our skiers and snowboarders are having fun. We enjoy hosting so many returning guests this time of year. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our friends, and be ready for a New Year with possibilities!
