As the skies start to clear this morning, we're learning just how big a snowfall we had over the last 48 hours. Aspen Mountain is sporting 33" of "fresh" and Snowmass has a new 28" blanket. Needless to say, the next few days are going to be powder heaven. Come and enjoy with us!
As of Friday morning, Aspen reported up to TWO FEET of fresh snow on the slopes above Aspen, and over a foot of snow in town. Aspen skiers and boarders have enjoyed truly epic powder skiing. On top of all the early season snowfall already on the slopes, all this news snow will assure amazing skiing conditions well into spring. Come see us and have fun with all this new snow!
The snow dances worked! The national weather service has issued a winter storm warning for Aspen and the valley from today through midnight, Saturday night. Between now and then, the prediction is for accumulations of 15 to 30" of new snow. Four inches have already fallen and it's only the beginning. Check out our web cams and see for yourself!
