Mother Nature went to town last weekend and brought over 24 inches of fresh snow to the mountains of Aspen and Snowmass. We're receiving steady snow today and it's expected we'll have much more tonight and over the next several days, just in time to give us a wonderful holiday sparkle! This image was taken at Buttermilk last weekend.

Ski Season Airline Offerings

Aspen Airport's schedule of daily flights is a full one again this ski season, with United providing several flights each day between Denver and Aspen, and direct flights on United from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston and Chicago. There will be 4 Chicago flights every day! American Airlines will again fly daily from Aspen to Los Angeles and to Dallas. And, remember daily ski season service into the Eagle Airport, just 70 miles away, with daily directs to a whole range of major cities. Air service is a "plus" for visitors to Aspen!

Plenty To Do This Weekend

As the holiday season approaches, the calendar in Aspen is beginning to get busier and busier! Just this weekend, we have tonight's Aspen Summit For Life, benefiting the Chris Klug Foundation and a performance at the Wheeler Opera House by the fabulous Punch Brothers. The holiday spirit is invoked by two local shows in Carbondale - "A Charlie Brown Christmas and The Little Star" at Carbondale Middle School and a presentation by the Thunder River Theater of "Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol."
