Summer heat got you down? Time for a float down the lazy waterways around the Northstar Nature Preserve. Aspen's only real beach is calling....grab a tube, a raft and some friends - head up 82 towards Independence Pass and put in around the Wildwood School. Head out a couple miles back toward town by the bridge, when you've had enough relaxing for one day (not likely). Ask a local for details or better yet, ask your friendly hosts at Aspen Square Hotel!
Tonight, July 20th, 8:30 p.m. - rediscover classic Michael Keaton and one of your favorite 80's spook flicks, as the future Aspen Art Museum presents a free outdoor screening of Beetlejuice. Ride your bike, bring your camp chairs, join your friends at the corner of South Spring and Hyman for another summer evening highlight. For more info, www.aspenartmuseum.org.
