Olympic Spirit and Big Air

Canada got its first gold tonight, with many local Roaring Fork Valley Olympic performances still to come. Surely, the spirit of competition and inspired antics on the Olympic mogul course will tempt locals and visitors to strut their stuff, even higher, for Bud Light Big Air Fridays at Snowmass. The world may not be watching, but your friends and onlookers will cheer you and probably buy you a beer for your bravado. More on the ongoing competition and the apres celebration, aspensnowmass.com.

A Great Time to be in Aspen

It's Presidents Weekend, it's Valentines Day and the Olympics are coming to winter screens, big and small, all throughout town. We've sent off our local Olympians and welcome some big entertainment this week. The North Mississippi All-Stars, Les Claypool and Government Mule, all coming to the BellyUp over the next few days. Aspen Art Museum invites us all to another thought-provoking art opening this Thursday, and the Wheeler hosts a slew of local musicians to benefit the children of Haiti. Good news, your stay at Aspen Square Hotel will be right in the middle of all the action!
