Holiday Classic Begins Today

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet presents the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker, today and tomorrow at the Aspen District Theater. Performances are at 2pm and 7:30pm today and 1pm and 5pm tomorrow. World Snow Polo Championships

Once again Aspen plays host to the World Snow Polo Championships, December 15-16. Snow polo was first introduced in 1985 and it's a thrilling version of the game played on a snow-packed arena. The only snow polo competitions in the US are played in Aspen, so this is your only chance to experience this unique sport. Thursday, December 13, Alpine Bank and the Aspen High School Booster Club is hosting a Holiday Bazaar from 3pm-5:30pm. Enjoy plenty of holiday cheer and shop for "Skier Gear" at the same time. Proceeds go towards supporting the AHS sports teams. Look for the ad in the Aspen Times - if you bring the ad with you, you'll receive a gift when purchasing your AHS attire. Cheers!
