From 5pm-9pm you can stroll down the center of Midland Avenue in the historic downtown, grab a brew or some food and the kids can dabble in chalk art while you peer under the hoods of the cars on display. Aspen woke to the exciting news that Aspen will be hosting the 2017 World Cup Finals. Although we have frequently hosted World Cup racing in the early part of our ski season, this is the first time in 20 years Aspen has hosted finals. Needless to say we are thrilled! Four major events, featuring the top 30 racers in the world for each event, on Aspen Mountain. What could be more thrilling?
On Saturday, June 7, Aspen High School is holding a Bike Swap from 10am to 3pm. You can buy, sell and trade bikes, bike parts, clothing, bike gear and tools. Proceeds benefit the Aspen High School Mountain Biking Team. Local shops and mechanics will be on hand all day. Heaven for gear heads is just two days away!
