Participants race to the top of Aspen Mountain in support of the Chris Klug Foundation, a non-profit promoting organ donation.

Aspen’s annual celebration of the joys of winter includes a festive parade and lots of fun on-mountain events at each of the four mountains of Aspen/Snowmass.

Celebrated winter athletes and enthusiastic fans converge for an extraordinary display of athleticism and cutting edge sport on the slopes of Buttermilk Mountain. 

Feb. 12 – Aspen Music Festival Winter Music/Cellist Alisa Weilerstein 

Feb. 28 – Power of Four Ski Mountaineering Race
Participants ski, hike and skin up all four mountains of Aspen/Snowmass, covering 25 miles and an altitude gain of 12,000 feet in an amazing feat of endurance. 

Mar. 13-22 – 15th Anniversary Bud Light Spring Jam, Aspen and Snowmass
Ten days of spring skiing, competitions, concerts in downtown Aspen and great parties. 

Mar. 23 – Battle of the Bowls, Aspen Highlands
Participants hike up and ski down all the bowls at Aspen Highlands, in a grueling endurance race. 

Mar. 28 – Elk Mountains Grand Traverse, Aspen Mountain
A Colorado tradition since 1998, this wilderness race begins at 12 midnight when hundreds of participants take off to ski the challenging 40-mile route from Crested Butte to Aspen through the rugged terrain of the Elk Mountains. 

April 5 – Closing Day, Buttermilk 

April 7-12 – Aspen Film’s Shortsfest 

April 12 – Closing Day, Aspen Highlands
