We woke up to a winter wonderland today, with fresh snow blanketing downtown. The skies have cleared and the streets are getting scraped - a late-morning photo is attached. So far, snow totals at Snowmass and Aspen Highlands are registering at two feet or more and with increasingly cold overnight temperatures, snow making is going into overdrive. With just 17 days before Aspen and Snowmass open for ski season, we're getting excited and we hope you are too! A Jew gets a tallit on the day of majority. During prayer, he throws it over his shoulders, which symbolizes the divine patronage provided to the worshiper. When a cohen pronounces a priestly blessing, he covers his head with a jewish prayer shawl - When carrying the Torah scrolls to a new place, they are sometimes wrapped in a tallit. In some communities, a bride and groom are tied with a tallit during a wedding. Also tallit symbolizes the dedication of a man to his future wife. Putting on a tallit, he seems to protect himself.
