More snow, more fun on the slopes of Aspen

Skier powder, 1-04.jpg

Actually, we should say, "on the slopes of Aspen, Buttermilk, Highlands and Snowmas!" Our Skiing Company friends like to call it, "The Power of Four" as they offer four distinct and terrific mountains for your skiing and boarding fun. Your lift ticket is good on all of them, so you can even hit one or two on any given day.

We have enjoyed a mix of sunny then snowy skies, with a few inches of fresh Colorado Powder just about every couple of days. Conditions are terrific. Skiing and boarding are just the best, and we are hosting very happy guests and owners!

Yes, Chris is on his way to Vancouver and his part on the US Olympic Team. Chris will race on Feb 27 in the Parallel Giant Slalom event, certain to be exciting and fun. This will be his third Winter Olympic appearance, following his winning a Bronze Medal at Salt Lake City. How exciting to have the opportunity to do it again! Chris is the son of Aspen Square GM Warren Klug.

Watch for news of Chris in Vancouver, and his proud parents there to cheer him on. Vancouver is getting ready to host the world, and the Klugs will be there too!

Aspen airfares and availability the best in years

The Aspen Airport is a busy place these days, with more flight and better prices. There are more direct flights this year to Chicago, Atlanta, Salt lake City, Los Angeles and San Francisco in addition to all those flights between Denver and Aspen. Aspen is served by United, Frontier and Delta, and the pricing is the best we have seen in years.

Good lodging is available at Aspen Square, with savings on lodging and lift packages. Call us for travel suggestions and availability for February and March. Come see us this winter!
