Aspen Square Daily News

It was a grand Ruggerfest Weekend!

The annual Ruggerfest Weekend brought exciting rugby matches in town and teams from all over the United States and even from overseas. We had teams from New Zealand and Australia and other far off places. A fun weekend it was! the weather was just righton Saturday, but on Sunday we saw rain and very muddy play. Of course, the games went on.

Eevents are always in downtown's Wagner Park, and in the nearby Rio Grande park, and all games are open for spectators.

Fall fun in Aspen

Fall is always a favorite season for many Aspen visitors, with crisp daytime temps, very cool nights and normally great weather overall.
The pace is slower this time of year, and there is still so much to enjoy in Aspen. Local shops still feature sales, and there are great deals in many of our best restaurants. The Aspen Trees are just now starting to turn their magnificent yellow and gold.

Aspen Square has great rates on a fall visit, so call for availability and big savings. What a fun time to be in Aspen and to visit Aspen Square!

Late summer activities in Aspen

What a great summer this has been! There is so much to see and do in Aspen this time of year, from music to mountain hikes and excursions, to special events and just enjoying some "down time" around the pool. The fountain at the Wheeler, left, is always a big hit with the little ones as adults enjoy outside dining nearby at many of Aspen's top restaurants. Late summer is a great time to be visiting Aspen Square. A trip up to the top of Aspen Mountain on the Silver Queen gondola is always fun, open weekend through September. Enjoy lunch service on top.
