Powder Fans Get Ready!

It is dumping snow this morning and is expected to keep going all day and into tomorrow morning. We can't see Red Mountain from our lobby this morning, to give you an idea of how hard it's snowing! Everyone here is smiling and preparing for what will undoubtedly be a a great weekend of powder skiing and boarding.


Winter Storms Bring Fresh Powder

Aspen Highlands February 28, 2012

After a string of sunny, mild days (and fun skiing conditions) the skies have darkened and the first wave of a winter storm has come through Aspen and Snowmass. Depending on the mountain, we've welcomed up to 7" of fresh snow and the forecast is predicting more before we're done. It looks like March may be coming in like a lion this year! Here's a shot of Highlands Village from Thunderbowl, taken just a few hours ago.


More snow: 7 feet in 7 weeks!

More snow this week means even better conditions on the mountains of Aspen. We have enjoyed a wonderful mix of sunny days, then snow, then sun again. Conditions are terrific for our skiers and snowboarders, and fun days on the slopes are a certainty. Come ski and board with us! And, ask about special rates for late February and March.
