Power of 4 Ski Mountaineering Race

Today's Power of 4 Ski Mountaineering race tests the mettle of some of the most fit people in the Roaring Fork Valley. Two-person teams will ski, hike or skin up all four mountains, including summiting Highlands Bowl, Aspen Mountain, Snowmass and Buttermilk in a single day. The race encompasses 12,000 vertical gain over 25 miles. All we can say is "wow"!
Battle of First Responders Benefits Aspen Hope Center

Aspen is a hockey town and Saturday night you can enjoy this thrilling sport when the Aspen Ice Garden hosts the Battle of First Responders. Participating teams facing off are from the Aspen Police Department and Snowmass Firefighters. The 7pm game is a fundraiser for the Aspen Hope Center, a valley non-profit providing 24-hour crisis counseling and mental health referrals. Music, food and beverages will be available. Admission is $10.
Fresh Snow on All Four Mountains!

Earlier this past week, Aspen awoke to fresh snow on all of our mountains including about 9" on Aspen Mountain and at Snowmass, and 5" on Buttermilk. Our guests went happily out the door again this day to explore the beauty and fun of powder skiing and boarding. Take a look at the picture - this could be you. It's another great day on the slopes of Aspen!
