Super Bowl Sunday, Aspen-Style

It's almost here. Many restaurants actually take a day off on Big Game Sunday, knowing the lay of the land is ski, drink and yell at the T.V. But there are plenty of new fun bars and old favorites ready to break out the season's best football specials. The new Finnbar on the Hyman Mall has quickly become a local sports bar favorite, while the Sky Bar combines skier chic with a big screen and plenty of couch space.

We woke to several inches of fresh snow on the mountains of Aspen and Snowmass today, giving us some of the best snow conditions in the country right now. As our guests continue to discover, the convenience of our location across from the Aspen Mountain Gondola makes hitting the slopes a breeze!
Big Air Fridays are Back!

When you're settled in at Aspen Square, and ready to explore on-mountain action, check out Big Air Fridays in nearby Snowmass. Featuring some of the most accomplished riders and skiers throughout Colorado, going big with tricks, air, and impressive feats over the slopes. Contestants earn points and compete for the weekly prize purse.
It's a great way to round out the ski day, or enjoy a few apres-beers while hooting and hollering in encouragement.
Big Air Fridays, coming to Snowmass starting February 10 at 2 p.m, every Friday.
