While we await snow showers later this week, the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) keeps us informed and entertained. Birders will enjoy meeting at ACES' Hallam Lake campus from 8-11 am tomorrow, to view the area's aviation inhabitants. If you enjoy travelogues, take in the Pot Belly Perspective event at Hallam Lake on Wednesday, the 6th at 7 pm. This week's talk will be on trekking in Northern Spain. Finally, this week's Naturalist Night talk is Thursday, January 7, also at 7 pm. This week's discussion will be about the pros and cons of reintroducing wolves into Colorado. All events are free and open to the public. Tea and cookies are supplied for nighttime events. For details, visit www.aspennature.org
