What began as a small get-together 10 years ago, has become one of the area's most delightful traditions - the Aspen Tree's Annual Community Meal. It's an opportunity to come together before the busy winter season and celebrate each other and our close-knit community, including local farmers. All ingredients for the meal are locally grown, and this year, Aspen Tree's goal is to purchase at least 75% of the food from beginning farmers within 35 miles of Aspen. To pre-register for a dinner seating at 5, 6, or 7 p.m, visit http://aspen-tree.org/events. This year's dinner takes place on Tuesday, November 21 from 5-8pm at the Hotel Jerome.
If you would like to volunteer for the Community Meal (there are spots for set up, hosts, greeters, food platers, LOTS of servers, table ambassadors, and clean-up crew), e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
