With the welcome return of our summer “monsoon” – think afternoon showers, not non-stop downpours – we want to suggest that guests who plan to drive into Aspen from westbound I-70 should check road conditions before leaving. Because of last summer’s Grizzly Creek fire in Glenwood Canyon, there is a danger of road closures, due to mudslides, in that section of westbound I-70.
