Local arts non-profit, the Aspen Dance Connection, has been presenting dance programs for more than 34 years. This weekend, they are extending their reach to Carbondale, where they will be presenting a program called SHOES by Engagement Movement Arts July 9-11. Independent choreographer Amy Anderson created this enjoyable evening performance which features lead dancers from Colorado Ballet, Ballet Ariel, WonderBOUND and more. Performance tickets are available on the Aspen Dance Connection website. The weekend also includes master classes, concerts at the Carbondale Library on Thursday and the Rifle Library on July 9.
