A family gathers to celebrate an engagement. Their dinner is interrupted by the arrival a Police Inspector, who begins asking each of them about a young woman who appears to have committed suicide the night before. At first, it seems there is no connection. As the evening wears on, the truth unfolds and the family’s seemingly perfect existence unravels around them. That's the plot of this weekend's performances of "An Inspector Calls" - a twisty and provocative play presented by Theatre Aspen's Conservatory program this weekend at the Black Box Theatre. The shows begin tonight, May 9, and run through Sunday, May 12. Who says there isn't interesting things to do during the spring off-season?
