For those of you who enjoy Buttermilk's gentler terrain, we suggest you get up here for some final runs since Buttermilk closes for the season on Easter Sunday, April 4. Aspen Highlands will also close April 4 with a more subdued version of its storied closing day festivities. The Aspen Times reports today that due to the pandemic, social distancing and crowd limitations will be in effect at Highlands. The Aspen Snowmass resort received up to 9" of snow in the last week, so snow conditions, plenty of sun and warmer temperatures will ensure that skiing and boarding will be very pleasant this weekend. We recommend spring skiing gear and plenty of sunscreen!
