January is a busy time for vacationing Australians - they love their ski vacations and Aspen in general. Ride a shuttle bus to one of the mountains or just stroll through Aspen Square's lobby, and you're bound to hear that distinctive accent. We celebrate the Aussies in our midst every year with Australia Day festivities on Thursday, January 26. The Silver Queen gondola opens early at 8 am, then they'll roll out all kinds of Australian specialties like Vegemite on toast, Tim Tams, flags, stickers, Lamington and more on all four mountains throughout the day. And don't forget the apres parties at Chair 9 and Base Camp from 4 to 7pm. Cheers!
